Selected RSA Mandates and Results

The following examples are presented in general terms to respect the confidentiality of the businesses and individuals involved.

INTERNATIONAL GROWTH

RSA played an instrumental role in establishing and expanding a Canadian company's operations in the United Kingdom.

The Mandate: Recruit and develop the necessary operational personnel, establish international logistics and distribution capabilities, and coordinate critical commercial relationships to develop the new market.

The Result: The expansion successfully drove significant corporate value, contributing to the company's subsequent public offering and eventual buyout.

CRITICAL SUPPLY CHAIN LEADERSHIP

At the height of the COVID-19 crisis, RSA organized the production of urgently needed personal protective equipment in China through five separate manufacturing facilities.

The Mandate: Rapidly coordinate production, quality control, financing, international logistics, and chartered-aircraft transportation under global emergency constraints.

The Result: Successfully overcame intense operational hurdles to deliver the product to a government agency in under eight weeks, an achievement subsequently recognized by the Office of the Auditor General of the Province.

STRATEGIC FINANCING

RSA arranged a threefold increase in a company's operating line of credit to finance and support significant business growth.

The Mandate: Prepare and present a credible corporate growth plan, coordinate closely with the company's financial institution and professional advisers, and structure the expanded financing facility.

The Result: Successfully aligned the greatly expanded financing facility with the company's immediate operational requirements to fuel ongoing expansion.

FAMILY BUSINESS TRANSITION

Following the death of the owner of a 65-year-old family business, RSA assumed an active role in managing the orderly closure and liquidation of the company.

The Mandate: Address complex employee and lease matters, collect stale accounts receivable, liquidate remaining inventory, and coordinate the sale of machinery and equipment.

The Result: Completed the entire liquidation and fully vacated the premises within seven weeks, selling the inventory above book value. Concurrently structured an arrangement that preserved a continuing income stream for the family.
